A man who disappeared after being locked out of his automobile is being sought after by Peabody police. Michael Gray, a 31-year-old man from Maine, vanished on Saturday night.
A Maine man who was reported missing and last seen in Massachusetts is being sought by police.
A family member reported Michael Gray, 31, of Maine, missing about 10:33 on Sunday morning, the Peabody Police Department said in a Facebook post.
On Saturday night, Gray was locked out of his automobile and disappeared.
According to the press statement, Gray called the Peabody Police Department for assistance but was unable to get into his car. He was then given a ride to a relative’s company in Peabody.

PEABODY in Massachusetts Michael Gray, a resident of Maine, has not been seen since December 10. His last visit to his family was in Peabody.
He’s a white man, age 31, with long brown hair, blue eyes, and tattoos. He is between six and six and a half feet tall.
His wife Jules Gray has gone to Instagram to ask for assistance in locating her husband.
I truly need your help on this platform. Given his adventurous temperament and love of the outdoors, I have reason to believe my husband may be anywhere right now, including Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont,” Jules Gray wrote in an Instagram post on December 27.

The Peabody Police Department tweeted on December 12 asking for the public’s help in finding Michael Gray.
“Michael was reported missing by a family member on December 11, 2022, at 10:33 am. Mr. Gray was locked out of his car on Saturday night when he went missing.
The Peabody Police were called by Mr. Gray to help him get into his car.
Even so, when admission was not feasible, the tweet claims that he was offered a transport to a relative’s business on Main Street in Peabody, Massachusetts.
At Spring Pond, his window-shattered car was spotted and hauled inside.
In an Instagram story, Jules Gray claimed that he “probably” shattered his car window in order to get his keys before calling a friend who is a Peabody police officer and was on duty at the time.
He was taken to his sister’s office to retrieve his sister’s car after receiving permission to use it.
She wrote in an Instagram story on December 28 that “His aim was to sleep at his mom’s House that evening and never showed up, and that was the last time anyone has seen him—or her car.”
He was last seen driving a black Ford Escape with the Massachusetts registration plate 7AF 586, according to a post on Instagram by Jules Gray.
Michael Gray has been without his wallet and license ever since they were found at Peabody’s Spring Pond. He hasn’t touched or even switched on his phone since December 10th.
